Invest4Justice is the leading matchmaker between plaintiffs and independent investors from anywhere in the world who are interested in obtaining the stellar returns that are possible through the funding of litigations.
We provide the platform where cases are viewed by thousands of potential investors every day, the legal services (drafting the multi-party litigation funding contract; advice on which cases are strong), information once a case has begun (a platform once a case has been funded, where information concerning the status of the case is privately posted) and ensure that earnings are distributed according to contractual terms.
First, however, each case must obtain 100% of the pledges that are required to ensure that sufficient funds are in place to fund the litigation. (Please note that no money actually changes hands on Invest4Justice itself. All funds are exchanged directly between one to many hundred individual investors and the litigant, and Invest4Justice does not profit from this initial transaction.)
Please also note that Invest4Justice is basically free: all that we obtain is 2.5% of the amount won by cases that are successfully funded through the Invest4Justice platform.
Now, let us be blunt: there are far more litigants seeking third-party funding than investors at the moment, since investors do not know that litigation funding exists and can be highly profitable. This is a nascent market that will take time to develop. This will change over time, as more and more investors learn that they can legally obtain 1200% returns by funding a case, but for the time being litigants must devote time and effort finding potential investors among their own networks to ensure that their funding campaign is a success.
Of the hundreds of campaigns that have been posted on Invest4Justice since it began two years ago, only the cases where litigants have actively promoted their campaigns have succeeded.
It will take a number of years for there to be a sufficient number of investors in legal disputes to make Invest4Justice easy for litigants to fund a case by kicking back and relaxing once a case has been posted. While a number of cases have in fact been funded through Invest4Justice, we do beg litigants to do far more than simply post their case and hope that investors come with money for it: the proactive involvement of litigants and the sharing of their case on social networks is absolutely essential for a litigation funding campaign to be a success in 2016, although this will change over time once the market becomes more mature.
In sum: Litigants, please do a bit more to help yourselves, since far too many campaigns are posted and then neglected. Almost every case could be funded if you contacted your immediate networks asking for small investments, made posts using our global post tool, and shared your case regularly on social networks. If 100 friends invested 500 USD in your case you would have 50,000 USD to spend on legal fees, and your friends could earn a healthy return.
While we will do everything possible to support you to obtain funding, please do a bit more to help yourselves!
