You Invest, and the world can experience Justice !

shutterstock_115333348

Our world is far from a perfect one… It would be great if everyone had the capacity to differentiate bad actions from good ones, if Justice was ensured everywhere and for everyone, if we all came to this world with equal chances of succeeding in life whatever it is we want to achieve.

Obviously, our world has proved that all this is not a present day reality. But what do we do to make it better ? Not much…Therefore, Invest4Justice wanted to create a simple way for anyone to try to make things a little better by investing.

Bringing some unfair stories, some wrongful cases to light, for everyone to see. For example, this following case of a grand-mother experiencing heartless money grab by her greedy daughters, not ashamed to steal all the cash flow from their 78 years old mother, leaving her penniless, and suspending her income. The injustice is even harder to understand when coming from members of your own family, not making sure that she has a decent life.

Invest4Justice has one minor way for us to make things right: Investing. Having a variety of different campaigns of unjust doings, we’re trying to give a voice for people who were wronged, and more than that, we are giving YOU the opportunity to help by Investing in the ones that hit close to your heart.

Estimated 500% Returns: Casino Case

Description Of Legal Dispute

(Currently the case is already being litigated, at this point, we are just waiting on preliminary motions to be resolved before the settlement conference and trial dates are set in.)

PDF of the Complaint: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2kEdlZhKaETZXdMYkxmSG84YUE/view?usp=sharing

This is a Lawsuit against multiple defendants, filed in US District Court Northern Division.

The basis of the above claim emanate from the wrongful detention and threat of police booking and incarceration, without probable cause, that I suffered as a result of being illegally detained by third parties with the consent and assistance of two Anne Arundel County Police officers on or about February 21, 2014, at the premises of Maryland Live Casino in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

An example of a fairly similar case that has been resolved is:

ANTHONY JOHN CAMPIONE v. ADAMAR OF NEW JERSEY, INC., T/A TROPWROLD CASINO AND ENTERTAINMENT RESORT

Docket NO. L-1418-91

Jury Judgement in Campione Case:

-Compensatory Damages: $500,000

-Punitive Damages: $1,000,000

I would note however that in the Campione case the casino was the only defendant whereas in my case the county and other defendants may be assessed damages.

Description Of Legal Dispute

I am seeking a lawyer or legal assistant to help me with my current civil case.

So many citizens of New York City, of whom I am now one after the closure of my workplace, are reliant upon government programs to assist us during times. My boss, who would be losing his position as well, was gracious enough to inform me in advance of the company’s slated plans. January 29th, 2016 was our last official day of work.

Since then, I am one of the many people in this city who have little or no income. My EBT card, which has already been approved weeks ago AND supposedly “expedited”, has failed to arrive in over three weeks now. Had I not been proactive in applying for credit and managing my funds, I would have been starving. My entire first case was canceled when they didn’t receive some documents by their due date, even though I received their mailed letters very late. I was not informed that there was no need to spend hours uploading the needed documents, even though the helpline confirmed their presence. (As a result, my total benefit amount has been slashed due to the later processing.) Some of the interview letters arrived days after the scheduled interview date/time!! In this 2nd case, the scheduled interview call did not come through at all, and I had to call them back myself so my case wouldn’t be denied. Consequently, I have waited for over a month now for food stamps, and of course I have been spending my own money on food when I was already approved.

I have called and emailed the offices about this. HRA often redirects to the local office, the local office does not pick up calls regardless of the time called, and the email responses suggest calling the local office. After telling a person on the phone from one of the departments that the local office never picks up, the response was that “well, then they don’t pick up.” It’s an endless circle, and I don’t have the extra funds to travel the distance to the office to demand documents they might not have.

For all these setbacks, I have been a successful and established worker since I graduated college with a BS at the top of my class (2014 Department Award medal in IT, by staff vote), and my longtime internship had become my immediate job after graduation. However, the economic situation has been hard on everyone, and as someone without the option of relying on parents (they live in Arizona), whose grandparents rely on their help at times, it’s been stressful and sleepless. It’s been nothing but humiliating and demoralizing to be treated as disposable and with absolutely no support for something as basic as food, when I had been doing my part as a diligent student and employee. I am asking at minimum for my card and some additional compensation to cover the weeks that I should have been receiving benefits. However, what I would truly like to see in the future, would be a precedent and a beginning to policies that hold NYC government employees personally accountable, and the fair remedial distribution of benefits to everyone in this city who is being kept without their rightful benefits. I understand that other states have successfully launched class-action lawsuits for specifically this issue.

Why would Investors get involved in Litigation Funding ?

beleggers

Litigation funding involves a lot of different people as lawyers, litigant, investors, random people donating.

Invest4Justice wanted to create a platform where all of these actors could gather, and communicate much more easily. But Invest4justice is more than a platform, it acts and reacts, ready to donate when a case is considered as noble. We’ll help you create a campaign for it to be seen for the rest of the world, and hopefully,  make it a successful one (you can see our successful campaigns here and here).

But Invest4justice goes further as we make litigation funding gainful, assuring it by making the Funders as well as the Litigant sign a litigation crowdfunding agreement before the transfer of any funds, as written in our FAQ. Being totally transparent, every case reveals what percentage of returns you’ll get if donating for them.

Therefore, Invest4justice is constantly seeking for Lawyers and Investors ready to take part on this journey to ensure Justice for everyone who was wronged.

If you’re one of them, take a look at our website, and make sure to create an account, you’ll be informed of every case, and will have the freedom to focus on the campaign that you consider worthy.

How Much Does Invest4Justice Cost To Use? Nothing If You Lose, 2.5% If You Win

One of our goals at Invest4Justice is to make litigation finance truly affordable for the first time. There are far too many businesses hawking lawsuit loans at usurious rates, which means that even a litigant who wins a case can end up losing money overall. Loans should be avoided unless a litigant is truly desperate.basically free

Every plaintiff in the world has an asset that has value – it is a contingent fee, the potential compensation that they will receive to right the wrong that has been done to them. The value of this contingent fee depends on a number of factors, but primarily the strength of the case, the temperament of the adjudicator, and an economic calculation which depends on the statutory and other legal rules in place.

By offering a small fraction of this potential future compensation to potential investors, litigants can fund their case without loans and without debt. All meritorious claims have value, and litigants can make use of this rather than going into debt.

The most difficult aspect of selling a partial right to future potential compensation to purchasers is that many investors remain unfamiliar with litigation funding, which is a novel asset class. While third-party funders have raised hundreds of millions of dollars to invest in legal disputes many ordinary investors simply do not know that this asset class exists. They will learn, however, since no other investment of which we are aware offers similar potential returns.

While Invest4Justice has over 50,000 visitors per month only a small, but growing, fraction of investors have decided to take the plunge and to pledge to invest in a legal dispute (investors do not actually pay anything on Invest4Justice, they merely pledge to invest if 100% of funds are promised – once this occurs, a bespoke multi-party litigation funding agreement is drawn up by Invest4Justice’s highly-qualified lawyers, and the funds are then transferred to the litigant’s lawyer and investors follow the case).

Many cases have in fact been funded and litigants have absolutely nothing to lose by trying. If you lose your case you owe nothing, and if you win it you owe only 2.5%, which Invest4Justice reinvests into meritorious disputes.

Over 50,000 Visitors Per Month On Invest4Justice - Invest Today

Every month, over 50,000 users visit the lawsuits offering contingent fees on Invest4Justice, and some of them invest in cases. Admittedly, the rate of investment of these investors is small but growing – the vast majority of humanity still simply does not realize that it is possible to invest in legal disputes, or that such an investment is far more lucrative than just about any other investment and legal.

Indeed, the returns that are offered through litigation funding seem too good to be true. What kind of asset class offers returns of 500% or more that is legal? For individual investors accustomed to returns of 10% or less, returns of 500% or more smack of either a ponzi scheme or something that is illegal. Yet, providing litigation funding is neither a ponzi scheme nor illegal, except in China (where many other things are also illegal that should not be).

There is of course a major risk with respect to investing in legal disputes: approximately 50% of cases lose, and the actual amount of damages that can be received cannot be calculated with precision. Someone who prefers to invest in gold or bonds, for instance, might drop dead from a heart attack due to the 50% risk of a case losing. Not everyone has sufficient risk tolerance to consider investing in justice.

There are ways to reduce the risk of losing to almost nothing, however. It is perfectly acceptable to invest smaller amounts in 4 disputes at once, for instance, which reduces the risk of earning no compensation to less than 7%. Is a 7% risk still too high? If you invest even smaller amounts in 8 disputes at once there is a 99.6% chance of obtaining compensation if the 8 cases go forward (1-.5^8). Since the differential between the amount of funding that is required and the amount of compensation that can be obtained is very large, you are almost certain to obtain excellent returns if you spread your funds wisely and do not put all of your eggs in the same basket.

It will take time for people to understand how ridiculously profitable it can be to invest in justice, which is a matter of education and understanding how contingency fees work. Given the incredible returns that can be obtained, however, which make just about any other investment pale in comparison, there can be no doubt that many investors will jump onto the bandwagon once they understand how this works.

Estimated 500% Returns: misrepresentation, loss of family company shares The Netherlands

Description Of Legal Dispute

I am suing my brother cs for damages for taking over my 50% share in our 4th generation very profitable family company for 1 euro in 2009 without my knowledge or acceptance. The company holds 2% of national production of mussels in The Netherlands, holds licenses for oyster farming and a unique 50% participation in a German mussel farm.

In 2008, he asked the local court in NL through the family notary public to appoint an administrator (of his choice) on the basis of the claim that I was “unknown” as a shareholder. The court nominated the administrator who subsequently refused to accept me as the shareholder and “sold” my shares to my brother in 2009. Sales by the family company group in 2009 was more than €3mln and has been consistent since then with clear profitability and relative few costs. I was at the time based in Ireland and unaware of what was happening. Without income from my NL in 2008 onwards I lost €4mln of investments in my Irish factory in 2010. It took me 5 years to proof my shareholding at the local NL court. Now the NL court has finally nominated an independent valuer. An invoice for this valuer is however due and I am eager to find capital to continue this court case which should result in a claim of at least €5mln, but more likely around €10mln.

Fees of valuer are estimated at max €50k with another maximum of €100k in lawyer’s fees.

Countries Where Litigation Finance Is Available

Litigation finance can easily be obtained for cases in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland, as well as much of mainland Europe, although the terms are sometimes usurious. Many traditional litigation finance providers will only fund cases that are located in the OECD, however, no matter how strong the case is on its merits. Many litigation finance providers are from the West, and they are understandably more comfortable with only funding cases that are located in their backyard.

Since Invest4Justice is a platform allowing the provision of litigation finance by ordinary investors located throughout the world, there are no non-legal restrictions in terms of the location of cases that can be funded. Nor are there non-legal restrictions on the location of individual investors who are free to invest in a case on the platform. The only restrictions for providing litigation finance have to do with laws and regulations of countries where litigation funding is mistakenly prohibited, primarily China, although there are other Asian countries and territories (notably Singapore and Hong Long) where litigation finance is allowed only with respect to certain types of cases.  world map without china

Thus, investors and litigants from the following countries are free to receive litigation finance, or to provide it, on Invest4Justice. In essence, litigation finance can be obtained for disputes anywhere in the world, except for China.

Legitimate reclaim of valuable gold assets

The Republique of Guinea claim is the latest listing taking Crowd litigate to new heights and claims that can reach 1000 % or more for interested funders.

This claim has a spectacular collection of of valuable mining permits within the Sunguiri basin of the Republique of Guinea, a Palaeo-Proterozoic sedimentary sequence and part of the Birimian gold belt that hosts many large mines and deposits such as Morila (Rangold), Singuiri (AngloGold Ashanti) and Sabodala (MDL).

The properties form part of the Dinguiraye concession which in turn are part of a special concession known as the Convention du Base. The Convention du Base result from agreements dating back to the late 1900’s where the Guinea Government, IFC and other institutions reached agreement for an injection of funding to the Guinea mines industry in exchange for 1,500km long term mining concessions of which these properties are indicated to be part of one and rarely come onto the market..

BRM geological studies have detected 26 anomalies of gold and is a key strategic acquisition for close by mines.

Certain parties have embezzled the properties and have illegally dealt with them. THR7 Limited the claimant seeks recovery of it’s rights and assets and has variety of options to do so; to view the campaign please click here.

The case is well advanced and 3 years of forensic investigation are complete which indicated embezzlement and fraud on several levels.

The claimant is raising $500,000 to cover legal costs and the claim excluding costs could be as high as $25mm arising from the improved value of the properties over time.

The Guinea Government or any other authority should recognize the claimants investment in the properties and in the absence of proof of payment by the fraudsters of their alleged $2mm + another $1.25mm payment for the properties.

Exciting cases like this do not come along every day.

Litigation Funding: How would you feel if you were wronged by a Real Estate broker regarding your own house ?

4047405736

It is not uncommon to be wronged by someone, but as it usually happens at a small scale, in the private sphere like neighbors not agreeing, or families not getting along, it results in moderate consequences. It happens, and often a simple solution comes along and solves the said problem.

Unfortunately, how would you feel being wronged by a professional claiming to be doing his job ?

That’s what happened to johnhewett225 which campaign you can find by clicking here .

Indeed, it surely is undeniably easy to manipulate random people asking for a service they don’t know much about. And in this case, imagine your home, your own house, being the subject of this manipulation. Real Estate is a very complicated market and every amateur turns to a Real Estate broker whether they wish to buy or sell, and hand them a blind trust.

The legal dispute started when the licenced Real Estate broker told them they owed $470,000 more than they actually did against their proper property. After manipulating them into thinking that they could not trust the mortgage bank admin because their situation was “very complex”, he then succeeded to make them sign a short sale agreement, without telling them that their home was really worth $1.2 million and not a short sale value of under $800,000.

This case is not the only one, and it is unreal to think that a licenced Real Estate broker would ruin lives by manipulating, tricking and hiding some very important truths. It could happen to any of us, and invest4justice is here to reveal these injustices, turning it into a litigation funding to help these people who were wronged, and in John’s words: “Please Help !”

Estimated 1,250% Returns: RECLAIM OF VALUABLE GOLD ASSETS

Description Of Legal Dispute

Claimant has gold mining assets in the the Republique of Guinea. The properties are within the Sunguiri basin, a Palaeo-Proterozoic sedimentary sequence and part of the Birimian gold belt that hosts many large mines and deposits such as Morila (Rangold), Singuiri (AngloGold Ashanti) and Sabodala (MDL).

The properties form part of the Dinguiraye concession which in turn are part of a special concession known as the Convention du Base. The Convention du Base result from agreements dating back to the late 1900’s where the Guinea Government, IFC and other institutions reached agreement for an injection of funding to the Guinea mines industry in exchange for 1,500km long term mining concessions of which these properties are indicated to be part of one. Very valuable assets. The claimant has been defrauded of assets and the investor wishes to claim back their rights and assets through ICSID World Bank arbitration. The acts of fraud are simple to prove as 3 years of forensic investigation are complete which displays 2 levels of fraud. The initial investment was $500,000 the possible claim excluding costs could be $500,000 ++ up to a possible $50mm arising from the improved value of the properties over time. The Guinea Government should recognise the claimants investment in the properties and in the absence of proof of payment by the fraudsters of their alleged $3.25mm investment into the properties the case of ownership should be simplified and the return of the assets to the rightful owner should be made. In the event of fraud parties committing fraud are also personally liable under such circumstances.
