The newly-revamped Invest4Justice is the leading community-based litigation funding website globally. We have updated our servers to handle the increasing load, and we are also in discussions with Paypal in order to find a mechanism where pledges can be made without paying any money, but which are automatically withdrawn if the funding goal is met.
We are using Paypal due to its global nature, but if Paypal does not allow pledges we will change to another gateway such as Wepay, which is less hostile to crowdfunding. (We are lawyers ourselves, and we have no idea why Paypal is so hostile to crowdfunding, but so be it.)
If you are interested in investing in litigation funding, earning the potential returns offered by contingency fees, or if you need money for a case or are a lawyer interested in new clients, then Invest4Justice is the only crowdfunding platform that was made for you. It is also an excellent platform to promote human rights.
In addition to the excellent returns that can be made by individuals interested in investing in litigations and earning contingency fees, once the exclusive preserve of lawyers like us, you can actually allow people to get decent lawyers when they do not have cash on hand.
All amounts are held in escrow until Paypal changes its tune, but all funds will be (and have been) returned if the full amount of funding is not raised, so you have nothing to worry about investing, although you should speak with a client about his case to ensure that it is a winner or concerns a human right that interests you.
