- SIGN UP FOR FREE: On the top right corner of Invest4Justice homepage, go on CROWFUND MY DISPUTE and click on SIGN UP FOR FREE! You can register by using your e-mail address and entering a username. You can also sign-in with a Google or Linkedin account.
- CROWDFUND MY LEGAL DISPUTE: Once you have signed up, on the same top right corner you will see appear MY PROFILE & TOOLS, click on CROWFUND MY DISPUTE! Fill out the form with all the necessary information needed and do not forget to set up a Paypal account in order to receive your funds. At the very end of the formulaire, choose whether your campaign will be based on donations only or if you wish to reward your investors when your case wins (learn more about contingency fees). When clicking on FUND MY CASE, your campaign will be instantly published to our platform and over 10 social networks!
- EDIT CAMPAIGN: Do you wish to make corrections or additions to your campaign? Don’t worry! You can edit your campaign as many times as you want! Make sure that you are logged in and visit your campaign. You will see under the title of your campaign the option EDIT CAMPAIGN. From there, you can add videos and pictures, edit the description of your legal dispute, post updates on your case and add you Paypal e-mail address!
- SHARE YOUR CAMPAIGN ON SOCIAL MEDIA: Do not underestimate the influence your campaign will have on social media! You would be surprised to see how many people are willing to help you! Start by talking to your entourage about your project to get funding, then spread out the word by sharing and posting your campaign as much as you can!
- RECEIVE YOUR MONEY: Once you have reached your goal, you will then be able to receive the totality of the funds you raised. Besides, some of your supporters may have chosen to donate or invest directly, meaning that you would be paid immediately even if the progression of the funding process is still ongoing. When redirected to the checkout page, a supporter finds 2 options: “PAY NOW, REGARDLESS OF AMOUNT RAISED” or “PAY ONLY IF 100% RAISED”. However, if your campaign has run out of time, you will not received the money pledged “PAY ONLY IF 100% RAISED” and your supporters will not be charged. If your case wins and you had promised a portion of your compensation to your supporters, you will be obliged to pay investors within one week following receipt of compensation.
